Disappointed

There goes my elective plan in Siem Reap... :S

Got a mail from Jia Li just..& i cant believe what i read..
They only accept ONE medical student at a time.

Ok gotta think of some other hospitals then.

"Thank you for your interest in doing an elective placement at Angkor Hospital for Children.

I would like to let you know that we can accept only one medical student at the same time and only final year of medical students. The length of stay for medical students is 2 week minimum and 4 week maximum. Also, as a medical student here, you would have the opportunity to sit with a Cambodian doctor in our Outpatient Dept; work with the doctors in Inpatient, ICU, and ER; attend daily inpatient rounds; go on Home Care visits; and spend time in the Lab -- but this is by no means a complete list of the activities offered. As a med student, however, you would have 'observer status' only - so no procedures or direct patient care, but you would definitely be allowed to practice physical exam skills, etc."

Then, I m still thinking about Hong Kong for a 3 weeks elective ^.^
(we have to do 6 weeks in total)

Any ideas for the other 3 weeks?
